Morpho Fashion show

Hello, everyone. I’m Hibiki Himeragi, the designer of Morpho.🦋

Today, I’d like to talk about the theme behind the designs showcased in our recent fashion show.

The timeless theme of Morpho is “clothing that expresses your true self.” Our brand aims not just to create beautiful clothes, but to design garments that allow the wearer to express who they truly are.

In this fashion show, we presented dresses in both white and black, using the exact same pattern. Despite being identical in design, each dress has a distinct atmosphere. The message we wanted to convey through this is that wearing clothes in a way that reflects your individuality can highlight the beauty of both the garment and the person wearing it.

It’s important to have ideals when choosing what to wear—knowing what you need and what works best for you. However, it’s equally important not to lose sight of your unique qualities in the pursuit of those ideals. The key is to enjoy fashion freely and joyfully, without forgetting who you are.

One particular aspect of this show that I’d like to highlight is the inclusion of a male model who walked the runway in Morpho’s clothing. He brought his own remarkable style and presence to the show, creating an atmosphere that was truly his own.

I specifically asked him to participate with his usual makeup and hairstyle. He possesses an extraordinary personal aesthetic, and I wanted him to wear Morpho’s new creations just as he is.

Fashion has the power to transform you. Even those who don’t usually wear Morpho’s clothing may find themselves intrigued by it, and by wearing these clothes, they may gain confidence. With that confidence, you’ll realize that you can do anything, and you can choose the future you desire. I firmly believe that the future is always bright.

Now, I’d like to share a bit about why I chose the Punk Lolita genre for Morpho.

Punk Lolita is a style that breaks free from conventional boundaries, allowing for a strong expression of individuality. It’s a fashion that anyone can enjoy, regardless of gender. I want to offer clothing that lets people choose what they love and enjoy it freely, without being constrained by gender or societal norms. This is the spirit of Punk Lolita that Morpho aspires to embody.
